A short description of how to install and use the rotisserie basket and how long and how many fries it will cook. I also demonstrate how it functions and operates, …
That hill whamp voice is killin me
Hi John! I thoroughly enjoy your reviews and videos. The link you may have missed for Instant Pot Vortex Plus Recipes is

Please keep up the great work!

Exactly! I bought mine last weekend and Im at a loss on how to actually cook anything. Website was useless
How long for fresh cut fries?
Great video! We are planning on trying this tonight and your video helped tremendously! Now I'm a suscriber! God bless you sir!
Hey, this guy is cool. Subscribed.
I got a question would you recommend the Vortex or the vortex plus? I plan on using it for mostly meal preps. Would be nice to do more
great vid thank you for putting so much effort
Can you air fry wings in that basket?
Nice demonstration. There are some Black Friday specials on this, I didn't know it existed until today. I'm looking at reviews to see what the verdict is. Now that you've had it for a few months, would you say it's a must-have or more of a convenience item?
You have convinced me that this is not for me. Thanks you saved me money and frustration.
The only down fall on these Vortex ovens there is not a on and off switch I'm always plugging in and out
There are a lot of recipes on there app. The recipes are Specifically for the vortex and very detailed instructions. It also has recipes for all there appliances that they have
I bought this two days ago and used it to do some potato chunks in the rotating basket. It was pain dealing with a hot hard to handle basket, crumbs everywhere, returned it. I got a beautiful new Delonghi convection oven which works better for me.
You’ve got a beautiful & huge kitchen, John. So well kept too. I’m loving it. 🥰
Thanks for the video.
Love & best wishes from Canada 🇨🇦
Great review and demo! And, I love your plaque above the mirror!
I bought mine a week ago for $58 at walmart. I'll tell you hwhat, I liked this video and you, buddy, have a new subbie. I enjoyed this. Thank you!
I had a water bottle on my counter just a little too close to the back of my Foodi, and it melted the top of the bottle. Yes, hot!
Skip to about 7:20 for use and 13:30 for end result. Cannot stand someone taking forever talking about what they are going to do instead of just doing it and talking while they are doing it.
P.s. this thing seems like a huge waste of time, money, and space. No thanks
Sprinkle some Old Bay seasoning on those fries, you will have salt and the spices of God to enjoy.
What is the stand you have for your screen?
I love the krinkle fries also. The 16 to 20 minutes at 400 is right on. I always go 18 but I think there's a window there. Most will be happy with 16 or 20 I think
Have you tried fries on the basket-weave tray instead? I’ve seen some other youtubers doing it that way.
Thanks for showing the hot air discharge. Seeing it reach 190 degrees was disconcerting. I just got my Vortex today, cooked some mild Italian sausage (overcooked!) and did it on my counter under a cupboard. Plus, the power plug was directly behind it. From now on I'll move it to an open area of my counter to cook. And now I'll get me some Ore Ida fries to cook!
I need to check out your Ninja Foodi cooks. It's early enough, I could easily switch to a Foodi…
Haven't tried the fries yet, but am currently dehydrating some peaches. It seems to take 7 hrs! More than I thought. But it seems easy to clean…though not sure about the basket. Maybe you can pop it in the dishwasher.
I have a thermometer with a very thin end prong. I roasted a chicken leg quarter and was able to stick it through the basket for a reading, so it's possible 😎
Thank you for your video. FYI there is a more extensive IVAF manual online that does have more times and temps in it. It also indicates that you should put rotisserie items, including the basket with food, in the oven before preheating. Here is the link to the manual https://instantpot.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/VortexPlus_10Quart_English-Full-Manual-2.pdf
Amazon brings up soft porn along with a few Instant Pots when I search for Instant Vortex or instant pot vortex. I can’t find product you’re reviewing.
Do you like the Vortex better than the Breville?
With my air fryer all I have to do is pull the basket out and dump the hot crispy food on my plate. This is way too much work.
I'm really you did this video… it's definitely not for me. I'm happy with my Ninja Foodi.
Bzzt! Fail! I can hear it now:
"Basket filler, Sold Separately!"
"Hot Basket Unloader, Sold Separately!"
John, you are F'n awesome!!! Thanks for bringing this to us!!
Hey John, where did you get the potato slicer in the video?
This looks fun to use. But I agree with everyone else, looks like more trouble than it's worth. Hard to use and hard to clean. And it doesn't look like it'll hold 10 quarts. I think I'll stick with my 4 Foodi's. lol …………. Thanks for the great video!
I'm on the fence with this one. How many watts? Can you clean it thoroughly, not just wipe it out? I had a George Foreman rotisserie and it was less than user friendly.
Can you do the same amount of fries in the Foodi, in the same amount of time?
Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see the chicken 🐔
John you know I'm a big fan of you and your channel, but I don't know about this one. I'm speaking about the 3 bowls, all the items you have to have with this thing just to heat up some french fries. I don't know about this one buddy.
rotisserie chicken……wonder where all the grease goes? and how easy it would be to clean? Lets see this video John. Was looking at this too at one point, Im pretty hooked on my Ninja Foodi thou. Thanks for sharing, I have some friends that will ike to see this.
Would love to see a rotisserie chicken in that. Keep it up jelly love the videos.
Thank you for your video.
Where do you but it? I cant find it.
