Once you brown the meat, you can essentially launch everything in without scraping the bottom, and start. It all smooths out on its own. Also, when you add a pound of mushrooms you can reduce the broth by half as they give off a ton of water.

lori you did a beautiful job…in presentation, clarity and instruction. a plus …you talk slow enough [just perfect] for the beginners to understand the how and why details. i really like to see your fingers on the control so that the beginners like me know what you are talking about. i would however turn your volume up because i had a problem hearing even with mine to the max. i look forward to watching you on a continuous basis. i would not change anything you are doing….i love it the way it is…..your way.

My daughter is loving this. Screaming yum just from a small taste of the tender pork chops while I worked on the thickening of the gravy. My only issues were you didnt mention the soy sauce, worchestire sauce or cream of mushroom soup in your description box. We had to stop the process and go back to the store for those needed items. All and all we both loved this step by step tutorial and the food is delicious. Thanks so much for sharing.

I made these smothered pork chops last night and they came out excellent. Thank you for the recipe. I received 👍👍thumbs up from my children. I served it over rice with sautéed broccoli in garlic and lemon.
