If you’ve been following my recipes, it’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Chinese food. I suppose it can be attributed to the whole Jewish Sunday Night Dinner (and Christmas Dinner) thing I was raised on.
And Shrimp with Lobster Sauce is one of my favorite things to order. So seeing how PERFECTLY, QUICKLY and EASILY the Instant Pot cooks shrimp, I just knew I had to come up with a recipe for it.

    Jeff have You ever used the Clam Juice in the Glass Bottles that almost look like a small Coke Bottle Instead of the Other? I have never used it in this Dish I use the Lobster sauce I buy at the Asian Market. And Do you know any Real Cantonese Dishes?>? This Cantonese Lobster or the Dish you are Making now the Sauce has finely ground Fresh Pork amount a couple of Other's, Cantonese Cooking is a bit More money But the Flavors and Presentation when serving can be over the moon lovely and when your guests tastes the Flavors you will be a Hit with your Friends Family and There aren't hardly any Cantonese Real Chefs on here Jeff. When you have Cantonese Dishes You will not want a Regular Asian dish anymore. Pls I ask you to Check into this and do Your Good Work. They will LOVE LOVE YOU!!     Just a word of warning..Better Than Bouillon has four different kinds/versions of MSG, worded so people won’t know. Ingredients listed on Amazon and elsewhere. Most people will be sensitive to one of the versions. Is there a recommendation for substitution because your recipe looks wonderful. Would seafood stock work? Boiled lobster water? Thanks for the cooking lesson.😊

Sometimes, when I put the lid on, it seems as if it is locked, but it isn't. I will have to readjust the lid which can slow down my cooking time. I'm pleased overall. I like the look of it. I enjoy the ease of cooking with it. Excellent item.

    I use minors “soup” base. I have a tray of the jars, chicken, beef i use tge most but have a seafood base as well as a turkey base. Like BTB the stuff lasts forever. Ive used it for a good 20 years.

    To replicate the way it's usually prepared in NYC Chinese restaurants, I added 1/2 lb. of ground pork. Simply lightly brown and crumble the pork using the saute mode, remove, drain ( clean out pot too) and set aside. Follow Jeff's recipe as written and just toss pork back in with the peas and scallions for (better than!) Chinatown's best! Wishing you and yours a GREAT 2018 and more recipes.
