Dude, you just saved my dinner. It's too icy to go to the store but I have all the ingredients. The only change I gotta make is my shrimp is the "peeled" frozen kind but still has the veins in it… Joyous me. So I'll prolly be doing those in last for a minute. Thank you. I just really needed to see a work around since I don't have beer on hand

Can I use fresh corn and I have peeled tail on frozen shrimp. Is this ok? Also, I have frozen cooked Snow Crab leg clusters. Can I throw those in and if so, will the time change?

I'm from the Pacific Northwest. Crab/Shrimp boil is not in my wheelhouse. Never had it, never tried it. However, I have not been disappointed with any recipe that I try from you. I bought the ingredients, and we're having this tonight. I do hate eating corn on the cob. It gets in my teeth. However, I'll floss later just to give this a try.

Yum ! We just made this recipe today after the Memorial Day Celebration and dip in our community pool. It's bout 96 degrees down here in Florida with sunny skies so having a great meal with seafood seemed just the right thing. Jeffrey this was the BEST ! And like you suggested, since we own the larger 8 qt Instant Pot, we added the potatoes, extra onions, green peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers and lots of shrimp, along with corn and the other ingredients you suggested. I wanted to add lobster, which was in my freezer, but there wasn't enough room in my Instant Pot. I'll try that next time by itself. Oh, my….it was heavenly…..Everything got done exactly on time and was so moist and tasty….all the spices were necessary….and accented all the vegetable and seafood natural flavors….So thank you, for teaching us a new method of cooking….I can't wait to try another of your recipes……Joyce in Sunny Florida PS Hope you are all better.

Can you cook with beer in the IP? My sis-in-law makes great peel and eat shrimp when we go to PA to visit. Being PA she cooks her shrimp in Yuengling Lager, celery chunks, and Old Bay. I'm going to give it a try in the IP,

I know you posted this 2 years ago, but I just tried it today…and WOW! I didn't realize frozen raw shrimp could be so perfect. There's no thinking involved…just throw it in the insta pot! My recipe adjustments…I used two cups of seafood stock (found in the store), cubed red potatoes, and cut four celery stalks into large pieces. I didn't have the Zat Shrimp Boil stuff you used, but about 3 Tbs of Old Bay and about a Tbs Tony Chachere and the crushed red pepper worked pretty well.

Great recipe! I made this last night and it turned out wonderful, HOWEVER, for my first crack at this I should've only used half the amount of Crushed Red Peppers 🙂 My husband and I both love spice in our food but I had our lips on fire last night LOL…Thx, looking forward to your future videos!!!

This is by far my favorite recipe by Jeff, I would have it weekly if we could! I use 2 instant pots and add crab legs, lobster claws, scallops (so yummy the scallops done this way) and shrimp. Definitely yummy eating!!!!! And yes I use ruby red potatoes (small enough so you don't have to cut them). I usually will cook the shrimp/scallop half for the 0 to 1 minutes time and then the other pot with the potato, sausage, corn, crab legs and lobster claws I will do for 2 minutes. Absolute pefection especially when served with some melted ghee (clarified butter) mixed with garlic and fresh parsley. YUM!

I use my pressure cooker every single day. I love cooking with it.>>>arah.in/uQwo I want to get a second one just the cook additional dishes on the side. Sometimes, when I put the lid on, it seems as if it is locked, but it isn't. I will have to readjust the lid which can slow down my cooking time. I'm pleased overall. I like the look of it. I enjoy the ease of cooking with it. Excellent item.

Nice job! We do love our shrimp here in Cajun Country. You need to let everyone know up front that the Zatarain's CONCENTRATED Shrimp & Crab boil is VERY CONCENTRATED. I been using it my whole lifetime and actually ruined a complete meal with this stuff. Never did that again, use sparingly my friends.
