I really like the description you give for your recipes, it helps for people who are slow and can't do everything with the pace of video. Also it helps to gather ingredients before cooking. Keep up the good work. This sambar recipe is a hit all the time when I made it.
If I am not mistaken, The dal you had next to cumin is urad dal, not moong dal.
I think you are using urad dal in the tadka. But you said mung dal. Am I right. and while soaking did you soak tur dal and mung dal or tur dal and urad dal. There is a confusion. Please clarify
