Could this be made into a soup? I was pondering adding a couple (2-3) cups of chicken broth and a can of black beans and a can of corn possible a can of chopped tomatoes.

    Hi
I would love to make this tonight. My only thing is I have 3 chicken breast. How much salsa would I need? It will also be frozen so how long do I put it on for?
    Thanks, Lisa

Looks delish and will have to try it! I cringed watching you have the raw chicken on a cutting board though. The juices of raw chicken can seep into the wood and be hard to get clean and the bacteria can cause sickness. Be careful and thanks for the recipe!

Hi, guys!! I justgot my instsnt pot and tealized i'm a miserable failure at it. I want to make this chicken tonight (to redeem myself and justify my purchase to my skeptical husband) but, I live at about 4,000 feet elevation. Does anything change at that altitude??

Great recipe! I have a recipe like this that I make in a slow cooker but you add cream cheese at the end. I just got my IP and I am going to make it your way from now so it won't take me all day. Try it sometime with the cream cheese you just add it at the end. Thanks and enjoy Karen

Love the cooking shows! I will be adding the Instant Pot to my want list. Next time, if you have a hand mixer, just put the hot chicken in a bowl, turn mixer on, and tada shredded chicken! Works great for pulled pork too;)

Made this. Yummy. Here's a tip if you have a KitchenAid mixer. Place the chicken in the mixing bowl and use the coated flat beater attachment and mix the chicken. It shreds the chicken quick and very easy.

Okay, so how many times have you practiced that little finger gesture to time it perfectly with the jingle? :))

We are looking at getting a pressure cooker with our RV but stuck between an Instant Pot and GoWise USA pot. The GoWise has an 8qt pot for the same price as the Instant Pot 6qt. For a family of 5 that 8qt is callin my name.

I made this for us a few weeks ago – we had it on tortillas. It was so delicious! I used my crockpot and I just shredded the chicken in the pot, rather than pulling it out and doing it on a cutting board.  Less mess.

Quick question, we just purchased the Instant Pot Duo60 and might have a problem with ours. Whenever it start(after closing the lid and waiting 10seconds) it doesn't allow us to make any adjustments at all. Can't change the timer, settings, or anything unless I press the Keep Warm/ Cancel button. Is this something that is normal or possibly a problem with ours?

Great easy recipe, Thank You! Just a quick tip, to release the pressure just put a wooden spoon under the handle and then slide it under the pressure lever to release the steam with out any danger of burning your fingers. I know clear as mud, give it a try.
