Today I am making a delicious Instant Pot Charro Beans Recipe in a 6 Qt Instant Pot. These are perfect to serve along side a family meal or freeze in containers …
When did you change your name? I couldn't find you I Love your receipes and wanted to show my sister your channel and couldn't find you. Glad I did. ๐๐
Plus I have chorizo in the freezer! Should turn out fantastically!
Charro beans ROCK!
Iโve made your crockpot Charro Bean, which are superb! Now I just HAVE to make your recipe in my Instapot!
These are pretty darn good! Especially the next day for lunch. I do think next time I will add a dark beer to amp up the flavors. ๐
Thank you for ,yet again, another amazing recipe!
hello, thanks for this recipe! definitely going to give it a try. i wonder what your thoughts are about adding baking soda towards the end of the cooking process to help neutralize the gases in the beans? or the other remedies like double/triple boiling to release the gases?
Thank you for this recipe. I have one question though, after it finished cooking why let it sit for 20-30 without venting it? I just started my pot right now
I love your recipes!๐๐ป Btw: your instant pot has a Bean/Chili button that u can adjust the time as needed. So you donโt wear out your manual button.
Amazing recipe! You made it so easy for me to customize it for our family allergies and for our NM preferences and it was a huge hit. I know this will be one of our regular meals. Tomatoes are an allergy so I used chopped green chile and powdered green and red chiles instead and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
Just for everyone to know : 1 pound of beans and 4 cups of water is too much for the 3Quart instant pot.
Once theyโre all cooked and you try to release the pressure, bean juice and steam come out of the release hole and makes a huge mess. ((If u let the pressure naturally release then itโs fine. Just be aware) I cut that recipe in half and it worked fine!
I think 3 quart pressure cooker pots are just too too too small for more than one person cooking.
Had to buy a 8quart. Much better and worry free.
I love your videos. Very thorough and hands-on. Youโre very clearly well spoken as well! absolutely love all your videos.
Can't wait to try this!! Both my boys have become huge bean eaters and I need a quick recipe.
I love all your recipes Mamaโ Delicious !!๐
Thank you so much for the recipe! I made it last night and it came out amazing taste so good!!!
It would be helpful to know how long it actually cooked, because it takes time to pressurize
I got an 8nstant pot for my birthday, and have been looking for some bomb recipes. Thank you girl!! Sending Anguiano love โคโคโค
I love the fact that you are providing recipes of my heritage and how simplistic you make it. Your presentation is wonderful! Love love!
Just found your videos. And I hope to recreate them one day especially the tamales.. I was wandering how do you like your Instant pot? Is it better than a crock pot?
I have a Lux Instant Pot and it takes my pinto beans 2 hours for cooking. The black-eyed peas 1 hour. Love your cooking!
I have a new instant pot and havenโt used it yet.
'Scoop out some of the fat' ….What's that? ๐ค๐
I can I substitute Tennessee pride for chorizo
Interesting.
Never had chorizo in my beans. They look delicious, definitely have to try.
Iโm going to have to buy me one of those instant pots ๐

PLZ MORE RECIPES FOR INSTANT POT, I NEED HELP HOW N WAT TO COOK IN IT!!!
THANK U SWEETIE FOR ALWAYS SHARING โค
Wow! 45 minutes. I don't know anything about these new-fangled Instant Pot things, but if I were to cook (say) a pound of unsoaked pinto beans – with or without other ingredients – in my trusty old pressure cooker for 45 minutes, I'd have some serious baby food! I'm not saying either method is better, but they seem to be pretty different! Cheers!
Can you please do arroz con leche in the instant pot
I will buy your cook book! Take my money please!
I wondered if you'd ever get on the Instant Pot bandwagon. It makes cooking so much easier, and usually quicker. I love mine, would hate to do without it now that I've got one.
I love my pressure cooker. I have all my set times and trust me its a life saver. I dont have to constantly be there in case i forget to turn off my frijoles/ add water
How do you come up with the time window, please.
I made these tonight and they were wonderful. Thank you for the recipe. โคโคโคโคโค
WOW! Love how you make it so Simple! YUMMMMM ๐๐๐
Thank you for sharing โค๏ธ๐ I'm still in the fence about the buying a air fryer or a instaPot do you have any thoughts on this subject? I'de really like to know what you think ๐๐
Love the Instant Pot Recipes – just got one and I am clueless as to how to use it. Your step by step really helped–Thank you.
Ooh this looks fabulous !! And btw, you are a natural at this video making ! Precise, to the point, and organized. Enjoyed this video so much and canโt wait to try this recipe !
Our family does not eat pork. I'm assuming I could add a half pound more beans to make up for the lack of bacon/chorizo? Or leave the ingredient measurements as is?
I bought an Instant Pot and do not use it. Anything you can do in the Instant Pot can be done faster and easier conventionally. I do realize that you are making YT videos and adding Instant Pot recipes is a good addition to your channel. Love your recipes!
Love this! Please more Instant Pot recipes!๐๐ป
Yay another instant pot recipe ๐
My favorite with some arroz!!!
Thank you so much I have an instant pot but I donโt have any good recipes , please more instant pot recipes ๐
I want an Instant Pot just for beans and stews.
These are so delicious looking ! I recall you cooking these for us before ! Thank you !
Admittedly, I'm a stoic anti-kitchen-gadget cook… I don't even use my microwave unless I'm making popcorn or softening butter. I've only this year purchased a rice cooker from Japan. It changed my life. I confess.
I make arroz three times a week. Why didn't I accept the rice cooker mentality? I'm a curmudgeon.
But, your last few videos have made me reconsider the InstantPot. I think I'm going to buy one now if for no other reason than easy charro beans… I love them. I could live on them.
Everyone gifts me kitchen gadgets. I have more worthless gadgets than you could fathom. I regift them. ๐ (Panini presses, quesadilla makers, pasta buckets, set-it-and-forget-it rotisseries, God knows what else lives in my junk rooms — a wine chiller even, I think.)
However, I have a feeling the InstantPot isn't one of these now. It's just a modern pressure cooker.
You should be getting a kickback from the InstantPot people. You sold me. Well, your beans did.
Cheers!
I can't wait to have charros all the time! ๐๐ฅฐ
