Your recipe shows 1-1/2 broth to add to dry ingredients, in the video you have 1-1/4, which is correct or is the recipe so forgiving it is just an approximation of needed liquid to work this up?

Thank you so much for this video. I just discovered seitan at a local restaurant and couldn't get over how much it seemed like meat. I was so grateful to discover something that I could enjoy as much as I use to meat. I promised myself that I would learn how to make it, but didn't know how to even start. Then I came upon your video, and because of it, I know I will be able to be successful with it. I'm planning on making a big batch for Thanksgiving (so I will have main corse to eat, instead of just side dishes) Thank you again.

Seeing this almost three years after it was published and it is probably one of the easiest seitan cutlet recipes I've tried.
The only things I've changed were tweaking the spices a little bit, I also added bouillon to the water to use in the instant pot and before putting the cutlets in I dipped them in the broth to help with any sticking. 🙌🏼

My favorite new kitchen appliance.>>>ur2.pl/1046 Between this and my air fryer you practically can cook everything. I love that you can sear meat and then pressure cook it rather that dirty another pan searing and adding to a crock pot. I have already given out many as gifts. It’s the perfect wedding, new baby, and off to college gift!

OH my gosh!! This is fantastic!! Thank you!!! <3 I made mine considerably thicker so I cooked mine in my PPC for 15 minutes, then did like you said and let it depressurize on its own. 🙂 will wait until tomorrow like you said to try them, but they smell sooooooo amazing~~ Thank you!!

Plant Based Cheapskate ➡️ THANK YOU for this video!! I never “mastered” the art of making seitan….I could never get the cooking/baking/steaming step right to make the seitan edible…..my “InstaPot” cooked it PERFECTLY this time. I didn’t like the texture but I believe it was because of the kneading time……or lack thereof. It was a little too spongy for my liking but I know EXACTLY where my mistake was made. I am going to try this again with the right flavors, the correct kneading time and your cooking process! Will check back in……..”Please hold” (operator voice) 🤣😂🤣
