Thx for the video. I have a Cuisinart pressure cooker. I got the best results by doing this: 1.– spray vinyl flower style container with Pam spray (3/4 sec. spray) 2.– crack egg & pour into the vinyl container. 3.–add 2 cups water to the pc pot. 4.–use a trivet & set cups on the trivet.5.–close & seal lid. 6. cook on low pressure setting for 2 min. 7.–use a quick release & remove eggs fm. the pot. 8.–use a spoon to remove cooked egg fm. the vinyl container (they should slide out easily. These poached eggs were perfect (white part of the egg cooked & yolk was runny).

I have an IP DUO. You never mentioned two things…adding water or what setting to use. I experimented and found how to make the perfect poached egg (s). Add 1 cup of water, put in the trivet, use steam setting on low pressure for THREE minutes…six minutes produces rocks. Even 4 minutes they're only half runny, the rest of the yolk is cooked. THREE is perfect with a quick release. Butter the container (s) very well before you crack the egg (s) in it. I used two glass ramekins with an egg in each and split an English muffin with perfectly cooked poached eggs over the toasted muffin halves.

Thank you for your experiment. I'm with others here in that I wound up with stones at 6 minutes? I am repeating this experiment this weekend. I want these perfectly poached eggs in an instant pot. Love the breakfast idea. Face cream is a nice touch 🙂
