Ah, The Noodle Pudding (or Kugel as some would call it). This is a Jewish dish that has many different incarnations. This one is on the creamier, sweeter side …

OK I made it! Funny: First, I did not attach the bottom of the spring form properly, so when I went to pick it up….I quickly put it all back in the bowl. Then, I put the trivet on the hot plate and then the spring form with the pudding …ooops, I FORGOT THE POT 🙂 🙂 :-). I realized it quickly and all was ok. The topping is so awesome; I cannot explain it. Thanks for the warning. It took less than 2 minutes for a very nice brown. I am waiting for it to cool. This will be for a Christmas/Chanukah party tomorrow & I will post more later. Thanks!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my instant pot!>>>ur2.pl/1046 It is definitely not a necessity for everyone, but it has certainly made my life easier. I think the 8 quart version we got is maybe a little large for most people's needs, but I really appreciate the versatility of being able to put a larger quantity into the pot – it's made dishes like stir-fry and rice possible to cook at the same time. If you're on the fence about what size to get, or if you should get one at all, I would say go for it!

I love this cooker!>>>ur2.pl/1045 I grew up around pressure cookers in the kitchen, and knew of the danger that they could blow up if not properly taken care of. This cooker almost makes it impossible to fail. The fact that it's electric was originally why I was attracted. I usually prepare meals on Sunday for my husband and I to last the week. This cooker has made it possible for me to cut the cooking time in half, without changing the quality of the meals. It was a great purchase, I'm happy I did it.

I found out last year I am part Jewish, well 1%. As odd as this may sound I've always known from 6 yrs old(adopted)that my lineage would be British, and Jewish. I've always been drawn to both cultures, both to the point of feeling like I was born in the wrong country, homesick for a place I've never been. I'll make my first Kugel, and watch Fiddler On The Roof for the 20th time.

OMG Just had our first taste, it's sooooooo yummy! I forgot that the recipe was enough for two puddings and there is only 2 of us, what a shame we will have to eat one pudding each! 😉🤗 love your videos. I've been married for over 40 years and 40 years of thinking of things to cook I have become bored with cooking, but coming across you has really inspired me to cook new things. I only got my pressure cooker 6 months ago and I just love it. Thank you for opening my eyes to more interesting recipes, keep up the great work Jeffrey.

This looks yummy – a must try – as well as every other video of yours that I have watched! One question: what did you use to remove the pudding from the Instant Pot? Also, if you do not know, there is a spatula paddle available for your Kitchen Aid mixer – makes all mixing easier. So delighted to have discovered your inspiration! Is there a cookbook in your future?
