I have the same model. When the recipe calls for the manual setting, I am unable to adjust the time. I have followed the steps in the instruction book to no avail. Can you help?
When I push meat, because I am cooking chicken, it sets at 45, I want 10. The minutes count to 10 and start L counting up. Nothing has cooked under pressure. Help
I still don't know how to use this. Be nice if she actually went into detail about setting the timer up and other features.
I don't see the cooking videos where she uses the instapot.
Fantastic, Fantastic! Bought one.
Porage is basically oatmeal, cream of wheat, that kind of stuff.
How do you make yogurt without yogurt button? What setting would you use instead of yogurt setting?
So we put it on ceiling and when it’s done turn it to venting either sides?
"Porrridge" is oatmeal or cream of rice/wheat. I haven't seen one InstantPot video where the person has known that yet.
Steel cut oats in the Instant Pot are amazing. They are also porridge. 🙂
Thank you for your video! I love that you don't go off on tangents and that you talk quick enough so I don't get bored! 🙂 I have a recipe that calls for cook on Low Pressure. How do you cook on Manual on low – not high?
That's a very nice American accent from a British perspective.
Yes you have made porridge !
You just did not know you did 🙂
So basically is an unboxing
It would be great for someone to go into detail with the time display. Sometimes it is hh:mm; sometimes you can do seconds…it is not clear on the website or in the instructions/manual.
I'm betting your wife has made porrage-it's just the English word for hot cereals like cream of wheat, cream of rice, oatmeal . . . though cream of peas (where they're cooked to a mush) would also go under porrage.

Question: I was watching a new user set up/water test and that person mentioned a reservoir attached to the outside of the pot (catches condensation). I recently bought mine-the v3 6quart and it didn't have one. Am I missing a part or was this upgraded and no longer needed?
Thanks in advance.
Oh! I love how the bubble wrap went flying over her shoulder!
Ummm- I could open a box! Geez total waste
I hope you do answer questions instead of all those chit chat about everything else but instant pot. Here is my questions: Q1: Why are there 2 venting outlets on the Instant Pot Lux, (one on either side of the sealing pot) Is one side better than the other? Q2: Some other models has condensation collector, but I don't see such in the Instant pot Lux. Do I have to worry about condensation ? I am intimidated by this gadget, but I got it as a gift.
How do you know when the lux reaches pressure if the valve doesn’t come up? I did the water test and nothing popped up
Are you still happy with it? Thinking on Christmas present for sister
Nice great to see a woman doing reviews on things they know about
Have you (female) ever worked in Fort Lauderdale? You look JUST LIKE someone I used to work with years back (but you look too young, so maybe your mother). The girl I knew was Melanie.
Jeez how many cuts do you need in your video? Can you not say more than five words at a time?
I got one of these for mothers day there is no recipe book or instruction
Which lights do u use in all of your videos
Make more instapot Videos, you are so clear and and easy to understand 😉
Porridge lol!!! gotta google that now.
How do you make yogurt in it?
What type of Microprocessor does it have? It sounds like it is some type of RISC Processor, or Micro-Controller like the Intel 8-bit 8051 Micro-controller which costs around $1.86
I made the cake in mine.. It stuck Like a bitch. I use my rice cooker which is a non stick Teflon like pot, worked amazing for cake. Prolly won't bother using the oven to bake cakes again. Nice review, I got the ultra, love the digital screen and the IPduo 60 v2.. Love these things!
Ribs …… nuff said
