Kristen, please don't take this comment as a negative one. I've ordered General Tso's Chicken at a local Chinese Restaurant owned and operated by a family of 1st generation Chinese folks and I was pronouncing "Tso" as you do in this video. Welllll, one day I actually asked the lady at the counter what the correct pronunciation is and she smiled and said "Touw"…..no "s" sound and the "o" sounds like a short "a". Anyway, thank you very much for the work you put into your videos and their clarity. May you and your family have a Blessed Day. Oh, and by the way, without the ginger and vinegar and proper meats, this is not really General Tso's Chicken. This dish was developed several centuries ago by a personal cook for a Warlord named General Tso. That cook wanted to make something for his master that no one else had. His "invention" was a great success and his master was very pleased. When I order it at this local restaurant, they stay true to the recipe with thigh meat, but there is also some white meat that I believe is from the wings. That sauce does take a little getting used to…..but not for long.

I’m new to the Instapot. I’m not on Facebook. Your recipes look great. I’ve tried several.
I’m trying to include over two cups of liquid-and get the “burn food” notice. Sure enough….food is starting to stick to the pan. Are any of ya’ll getting that? Any suggestions??

We always keep rice vinegar in the fridge, we love it sprinkled on hoagies. I don't keep ginger but can I use the powdered ginger? I have chicken breasts so this is a winner. Thanks, love your videos.

Kristin can you please clone yourself . I need you. I tried this last night with the vinegar and ginger. It was awesome, and so easy. My wife and I loved it with wild rice. So few ingredients and so good, and very fast. Keep it up channel is great.

General Tso's Chicken it's NOT! When you start removing ingredients, you are removing layers of flavor that give the recipe it's character (taste even).
I'd suggest that if you're going to do a recipe, you think it out in advance and prepare properly by obtaining ALL of the requisite ingredients and staying as TRUE to the recipe as possible before recording and posting the video.
And as for FACEBOOK, not everyone is foolish enough to subscribe to it and put their privacy in harms way, or perhaps you didn't hear of the major fiasco whereby 87+ million user accounts personal data was breached. Sure makes me want to go and subscribe…… NOT.

Omg…this was delicious… I did change up 1 thing but it came out great! ( I coated the cut up chicken thighs in cornstarch and lightly sautéed them in some olive oil…then I cooked them as you did!)

Thanks for another great easy recipe! I made it tonight and it was fast and very yummy! I used thighs and used balsamic vinegar, cause I didn't have rice vinegar. I added red pepper flakes to spice it up and after I took the chicken out I added a little corn starch and sautéd the sauce for a few minutes. I was great! How are you enjoying Sacramento?

This recipe seems to be more for honey chicken. There’s nothing general tsos about it except the base ingredients. General tso chicken is supposed to be spicy. It’s not the most kid friendly recipes if it’s made with the ingredients that make it spicy.

I am a new subscriber and new electric pressure cooker owner (not the IP brand). I wanted to thank you for your videos because they have been very helpful for me to learn how to use my electric pressure cooker (since the instruction manual that came with mine was very "unique" shall we say). I am disabled and I have found it so helpful to be able to make meals quickly and easily without having to stand for ages at the stove.(something very hard and painful for me to do)
