Some of my clients report less digestive issues when the beans are instapot'd with a bay leaf or small kombu slice (washed). Apparently it will eat up a lot of the oligosacchrides naturally released in the pressurized water.

coming from a professional chef, im very unfamiliar with the rinsing the beans after cooking. Always been taught to rinse before using to pick out any unwanted contaminates, dirt, or foreign objects. At the bare minimum, I would also add bay leaf, onion, garlic and salt to season the beans. Rinsing the beans post cooking would be counter productive IMO, and saving the cooking liquid for a variety of uses like in hummus, salad dressing, or a soup is quite beneficial.I New to instant pot use, and def needed a guide for cooking time on skipping soaking. Hope this works, thanks.
