I prefer the Instant Pot Duo Crisp because both the lids come off for easier cleaning, moving, and storage. I also prefer the stainless steel cooking pot. Barkeepers Friend will keep it looking shiny as new. FYI most stores sell the 8QT, but you should know that a 6QT version is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart. It was on sale today for only $79

Thanks for the videos. Helped me decide to get my mom the Instant Pot Duo Crisp for her December birthday/Christmas gift. The deciding factor is that she hates having too many things on her counter, so I'm not getting the Foodi.

Hi John, I love your videos. They have helped me learn how to use my duo crisp. Question about air frying in it. Have you ever used the rack they provide for the air frying basket to create 2 levels and be able to cook more at a time? Or can you even do that? Thanks!

Does the Instant Pot duo Plus Crisp and Air Fry need preheating before Air Frying? I do not have mine yet, so would be good to know ๐Ÿ™‚ I wish I could eat those chicken fingers right now, they look fantastic. Who needs a deep fat fryer when Air Frying looks so good!

if i want something to be more like my deep fried cooking i spray or brush on oil, light or heavy. thats the beauty of airfry vs deep fried is i can control how much oil i end up eating. Deep fried, i think its overly oiled up and i honestly don't need that much oil to love a dish.

Thanks once again John for your videos…this was great…I can't wait to try it. I've said it before…like you, I love both devices…and I don't like the bulky two lid Foodi….but that liner is amazing!!! The liner is the difference for me…great recipe and thanks once again…Happy Father's Day!!! God Bless!

Hi john, do you own the Bake Kit for the Ninja Foodi Deluxe? If so can you do a video on how to properly attach the Bake Kit (all 3 pieces) to the reversible rack? I would sure love to see you do a demonstration on that. I think so would a lot of people. Nobody does it like you John! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Do you have any recipes that incorporate some sausage bits into the chicken breading? Iโ€™ve never tried this, but the thought of it makes me want to tun to the store and buy both. I saw a recipe recently for Scotch eggs, (which makes me want to run to a different store). But if you can cook an egg with sausage, why not a chicken?

With the IP Duo Crisp, just took EL Fudge cookies, wrapped in crescent dough, 375 about 5 minutes. Smeared with Nutella, dusted with powdered sugar. You gotta try this…
FYI, messed up wings from not preheating, will get back to you when I retry.

Great video! I really appreciate seeing the comparison of both because I was debating over both. Eventually I leaned towards the foodi deluxe and it has been a great purchase. I enjoy watching these videos where you talk about the products you use and show them in action. I bought the meater based off your usage and it has really helped!
