I have no idea why you didn't brown that sausage, then add broth for the pressure cooking. I don't like the taste of boiled food.

How did the venison sausage turn out. I am like you if it has wild feral pig in it cook it well. There are a lot of warnings on handling those rascals. We are inundated by them in the Thorndale Texas area. Have you ever camped at lake Grainger during the week. It is nice and not crowded.

That sausage looks mighty tasty there Rusty, so what time should we all show up for that great big dinner that I KNOW you want to make for all of us…? I will be buying an Insta-Pot for my own 5th wheel when the time comes since my Lithium battery bank (800 ah's worth) will be more than capable of handling the amperage draw and the 1800 watts of solar will replenish the bank in no time at all. As always it's a real pleasure watching your videos Rusty, you come across as a straight shooter and no B.S. – a rare thing on YT. Enjoy your sausages my friend.

A side-note for those considering buying a Instant Pot … they come in two types. One is a pressure cooker, the other isn't. Make sure you are buying the correct one for your use. 🙂

lI received a 6 quart Instant Pot this Christmas – cooking for two. The 3 quart would have probably been fine for us, but I am loving this pot!. So far: Stew, rice, beans, soup, oatmeal, banana bread, cheesecake – you can cook almost anything in it. And there are lots of helpful you tube Instant pot videos. Mine is definitely coming along in the Casita! Will use it when on shore power and perhaps cook some ahead ( as you have your sausage) for the road. A wonderful tool for travel.
