Do you find that your beans are al dente? I soaked mine for 18 hours and then cooked them the way you did and they were a little bit tough.. but I still liked them better than store bought.

This way the crop is harvested sooner, making it easier and faster to produce. Sadly, a long list of food is contaminated by this method: wheat, oats, barley, rye, beans, peas, corn, potatoes, sunflower seeds, and many more crops.
This is criminal. Organic food is not harvested like this. My beans are perking away in the Instant Pot, as I type this. Yummy recipe. Thanks.

In Brazil we eat beans everyday , usually we leave the beans overnight in water , next day before cooking just rinse . This makes you have less gases after you eat and also helps to take away anti digestion components, And of course also makes delicious softer ! Love you Chantee :).

I just make canned baked beans and I eat meat so I use all meat hot dogs. I soak the beans in brown sugar, molasses, honey, and the sauce from the can. I saute the hot dogs, then cut them into bite size pieces and cook them together with the beans… When it's done, I drain off all that juice and eat the beans and hot dogs without sauce. I've been making hot dogs and baked beans like that for years. However what you made looks good too, I'll have to give it a try. …….. BTW you are the prettiest girl on YouTube I think, and probably the healthiest too. I had trouble keeping my eyes on what you were cooking because of looking at you. You are probably high maintenance lol, but your BF is one lucky dude I think.
