I have made applesauce and it is amazing!!! I tried both 1 and 2 on the soup setting option 2 is the best for store bought texture option one you can finish blending by hand for a more chunky consistency
Worried about returning a Vitamix I just bought while I await this.
One small thing that I know this line of IP blenders won’t have, like Vitamix and my Oster, are those smaller mixer jars, where you can make a smoothie in the morning and just take it with you.
I find shopping for a blender to be a PITA.
Vitamix only heats by friction to tepid temperature, but blends smoothly. Still, costs a fortune.
The IP blenders heat to boiling, but don’t put cheese in there!
My old Oster has treated me well but, I’ve only made smoothies in it.
my first attempt at soup, i put too much water in blender. when the last two minutes came up..the blades turned very fasst and made all of the soup raise past the top and leak out of the blender causing a big mess. gotta be more careful next time

Returned the blender. It’s garbage and didn’t make a good soup

I got one and loved it…. but then it died within a week on a carrot.
How hard is that to clean?
Did you use cooked or raw squash? Recipe please.
