waiting for the mail to bring my first instant pot, can hardly wait! If I cook 2 foods at once, meat and a vegetable, how long do I cook it? Will the veggies get mushy if the meat needs a longer cook time? Glad I found your channel 🙂

I made pasteurized eggnog in my IP for New Years, with one of those thermometers, too. Didn't have the right size bowl needed to continuously whisk the mixture while cooking, so I used a crystal glass pitcher sitting in water bath, holding my breath the whole time. Whew! Success.

Next day, I went to Walmart and found a thick, heat resistent 7.5 cup round, glass bowl with lid (which is what the recipe called for). Now I have it for next time I want to make that recipe… which was "The Bomb"! Also, the lid will help avoid skim on the top as it cools.

I don’t know we’re your Walmart is but our Walmart in Ottawa, Ks is not that fully stocked. I would have to get it on line and if I did that I would do a price comparison. But thank you for information tips. I’m new to the insta pot and your recipes are great. I’ve done a few soups so far and working my way into more recipes.

Nice to know Wal-Mart has those little pans for a 3 quart. I had gone to Bed, Bath & Beyond but couldn't find anything that would work. Then I went to Target's pet section (yes, you read that right) & there were small stainless steel pans for dog feeders. I got those and they work great!
