I bought the instant pot vortex plus air fryer first. The toxic fumes from the vortex plus made me so sick. It took about 4 hours of run time for that smell to finally dissipate. The food came out crisp and delicious. I've cooked chicken wings and cornish hens, fries and tater tots. We even roasted potatoes. The Vortex plus is big compared to other air fryers but it wasn't big enough. So I was gifted a Instant Omni plus for Christmas. I couldn't wait I opened it last night and plan to fire it up today. Two negatives I see is that the Omni doesn't come with a rotisserie basket like my Vortex plus, and the air fry pan doesn't cover the length of the whole oven like the air fry rack in the vortex plus. I wanted more surface for my wings to cook all at one time. I'm going to order the Breville air fry racks and hope they fit.
I just bought the non plus version at Walmart, gonna try and cook some Gordon's fish tonight, wish me luck!
The only thing I care about is whether it can roast a 5 lb chicken on the spit. Most toaster ovens are too small for that.
If I was to buy this type of oven (any brand) I would like to be able to rotisserie more than just a 4 lb. chicken. It seems like that's the ceiling. Do you know of a brand that will hold a larger whole chicken?
Hello – any idea how this compares with the Cosori Toaster Oven? That one is 30L but I am not sure that there's much difference when it comes to cavity dimensions!
I was in Kohls today. They had a mock display unit for the Omni Plus on Display…but no inventory in the store…nor is it up on Kohls web site…
I wasn't impressed with the 2 prong rotisserie fork as I struggle with my power airfryer ovens…I believe your NuWave had a nice 4 prong fork that looked more user friendly
