Hi I suggest you use a deep tawa or add less batter and let it cook till the upper part is dried before it's flipped.
Handvo is a authentic recipe from Gujarat. Being a gujarati I frequently make handvo at home and all of us loves it. Instead of using kadai u can use tawa and make pan cake out of it. Your recipes are just amazing Yaman 😇

Maaja …..padi gai Yamaan Dikra. You showed a Gujarati recepie today all time favourite. If possible make it in its original method by grinding Handva flour. Rice turdaal chaanadaal wheat jawar bajri etc n grind a thickhandva flour.
Method is all same but we fragment it for 6-7 hours n then we give tadka with Rai, zeera, whole dhaniya, sesame seeds taz patta, Taj sticks loung dry red chillies to the full batter. Then while putting one one hadva we only put a little bit of oil. The handva is ready. Try with sweet achar or lemon achar it tastes yum yummy……y.😋😋 Cooking-shooking best👌👌👍
No too oily can make you sick ….best put in oven to bake with added tapering on top
Instead of big cake I think we can go for small pakoras .
