parmesan has a "stank" but cilantro doesn't taste like "soap"?
I heard that some people say that cilantro tastes like soap, I don't taste the soap, so I'm okay with cilantro! LOL

I live in California and I have had the real Elote (streetcorn) in a prior non-vegan life in the Central Valley. The only thing missing is Valentina Salsa Picante drizzled over the top. Adding cilantro to the "mayo" is a boss move! I am not sure why I have never thought of this as I absolutely love Cilantro. Also for me a true Elote is done with steamed corn as you want it to be nice and juicy… maximum juiciness…. aka schmoist. However I am sure the BBQ adds a nice smokiness to the corn. Also after seeing you make Elote I am now officially ready to propose to you! Let me know where and when 🙂

This dish cannot be bad because grilled corn is just the best version of corn. So much more flavourful!
Having said that: I am happy your Mexican subscribers were kind to you about the parmesan and coconut yoghurt 😀 You simply invented a new dish based on this traditional street food!
    .
As always, lots of love Rose!
Stay safe and have a great end of the week!

Rose if you can find the Mexican spice in a little bottle called Tajin
It will be a total came changer for you
    It awesome on corn
    Watermelon, apples
    And even mangos
But really great on Mexican street corn
And try using Vegan Mayo next time it's more delicious than the
Vegan yogurt and yes Parmesan cheese in top
So just make the yummy Parm. You made and you'll be amazed at how yummy
    It will be 😘💕

I’m Mexican. Typically we use Mayo. Cotija cheese, some spice, like powdered spice, like tajin etc.

I’ve veganized it with vegan mayo and the cheese you made. I’ve never seen it with cilantro. Ever. But it does look pretty. Oh and we don’t put raw garlic. No lol
    Lemons yes though.

I'm Mexican and I'm sorry to tell you this but this isn't Mexican elotes. I really think you should change the name of the video…. it's just not Mexican at all, it's more… sorry to say it but white washed "Mexican" lol. Still love you sis, but just thought I'd told you.

I've never heard of this corn but it looks good. Also, Rose, the PC brand has a new vegan sour cream and it is so good! (Make sure to stir it up first though…I used to have to do that with real sour cream, too 😁) I'm really curious to see what your opinion of it is!

I make as close as I can to my fav from the elotero. With follow your heart mayo, follow your heart parm the one that is in a shaker, and I put softened vegan margarine in a ziploc and cut the corner to squish it onto the corn. Lastly a sprinkle of pico de gallo chile powder and lime. 🤤🤤

In Chicago you can find an Elote cart at every corner.. lol, not literally but they are not hard to find. And I've never heard of putting sour cream or cilantro on it. Those must the be fancy recipes. Lol , I'm sure it's good though because cilantro makes everything better! Lol. So, here in Chicago the corn is boiled. Mayo first, then squeezable butter, cheese next and your cayenne pepper. That's it! And yum yum yum it is… And it can all be veganized… That's how I do it… No more Elote Cart for me… No vegan option with the Elote. 🤷‍♀️😭 Lol Enjoy!!
