I always was fascinated by the fish tart the old lady baked for delivery to her grandson in Kikis delivery service. It looked so yummy so I was twice as angry about them not wanting to eat it.

Maybe use sumach instead of pink baking glitter next time^^ that would be interesting

And about the proofing basket. I think you are supposed to ad the fabric ontop.

This is my first time watching you though I'm subscribed since a long time. I loved the video, also hearing about how different languages affect the scene and characters. And honestly over all talking ❤

the bean bao buns look sooooooo good 🤤
i think i watched almost every single ghibli movie and my usual favorites are "kiki's delivery service", "spirited away", and maybe "arrietty". i'd also recommend some less famous pieces such as "marnie", "nausicaa" or "up on poppy hill". but the best tearjerkers are definitely "the wind rises" and "grave of the fireflies"… 10/10 would cry again.

I clicked so fast. I always see clips of people recreating food from Ghibli but I've never seen a vegan one yet. I've always wanted to try this but in my own lazy way I was just going to buy vegan ham 😅 the boiled egg recipe looks incredible. Food science is so cool. My favourite movie is Howl's Moving Castle. I will never get tired of it. Princess Monoke is a close second for me

These all look absolutely exquisite and wholly delicious 💕 utterly adore Studio Ghibli; possibly From Up On Poppy Hill just edges to top favourite, but they are all sososo good. Was over the moon to see this pop-up on the notifications bar, perfect way to unwind after today's exam. This whole video was a wonderful pleasure to watch, as always 🙂 Thankyou!! Have a lovely rest of your week!

Great video! Even though I am an older generation, I am familiar with all the Studio Ghibli movies because my kids have a boxed set of DBDs. I would definitely say that Grave of the Fireflies made me cry the most. It’s so hard to pick a fave but I do love Ponyo, Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle quite a lot!

I think that objectively Princess Mononoke is the best Ghibli movie, but my personal favourite will always be Kiki's Delivery Service. I loved it as a child, and when I moved away from home for the first time, I rediscovered it and it gave me so much comfort! Now that I am fully settled in and feel less lonely and lost than I did back then, I still can't help but bawl my eyes out whenever I watch it.

Wow, all of the recipes looks amazing! Especially the buns!! Hard to decide on a favourite Ghibli movie… Have seen most, but not all, Ponyo is still on the list. Princess Mononoke, Howl's moving castle and spirited away are definitely my top three. Totoro, Porco Rosso and Nausicaä I also really, really like. The only one I didn't like was Pom Poko, cool concept but just a little bit too weird for me 😀

My first studio Ghibli movie was Kiki's Delivery Service that movie was so nostalgic to me as I watched at my best friend's house after school with the other friends at that time it was a CD player.
My favorite one would be Howl's Moving Castle I watch that movie alone in my room like after a month since I break up with my partner and I cried out of happiness towards the end of the movie.

As a child I loved Spirited Away. I think that one has to be my favorite. However, it's quite dark. If I want to watch something light, I'll go for Kikis delivery service.
(Ich sag ja immer "Kikis kleiner Lieferservice ist einfach für's Herz!"😅)
