Oh my Josh. If you hate okra then you have never had proper southern fried okra! When I was a kid I would always get stranger looks when asked what my favorite food was and I would say fried okra. Now I'm not talking about the deep fried nuggets that you get in a restaurant either! Those took a long time before I kinda liked them! Funny worst food (hate the most!) Boiled okra!

The last part of the video you ask if we missed anything…. Yes coleslaw is definitely missing. Apart from maybe biscuits, that's a must for any fried chicken meal.

I'm not doubting your chicken was awesome but unless you went to KFC and bought a fresh bucket and I mean fresh, like they just made it and you got it home and served it just at the same time that your chicken came out of the fryer, without having the steam from the bucket make it soggy where the skins falling off, there is never going to be a comparison. Even my homemade chicken strips that are just salt and pepper dredge are better fresh then reheated KFC and they aren't anything to write home about. This is coming from a family where my grandmother was deep Virginia born and made the worlds best fried chicken from scratch. Nothing beats her chicken. That said, I stand behind my point that you'll never get a fair comparison. KFC gets the job done when you want chicken without spending hours in the kitchen.

I have become an expert at making Mac and Cheese cause it's my fav, so what I've learned is before adding the cheese you got to season with garlic, onion ,paprika and salt and pepper makes it so so good!

Josh you should make a video that goes along with your shredded video. Like 15 easy low calorie meals or something along those lines. Love these vids tho great thing to watch while eating.

You hate Okra?! You just haven't had any good fried Okra. You really need to take a trip to the Carolinas, get you some really good fried Okra, then try to replicate (or beat) it. You WILL BE a convert!

Man, I dunno Josh….Fried chicken breast is my favorite, and you COMPLETELY EXCLUDED IT! I like wings, too, but honestly I'd rather have buffalo wings if I'm gonna go that direction.

Why is everyone obsessed with creamy mashed potatoes? I really enjoy the whole potato, cleaned well, skin on, cubed up, and not homogeneous.

It's mashed potato, after all, not potato puree. It should have textures!

He should have put his extra crispy chicken against KFC extra crispy instead of original recipe. They’re prepared differently. KFC EC is marinated and cooked in an open fryer (it’s also double breaded. Dredged, dunked in water and dredged) OG recipe is just breaded and cooked in a pressure cooker.
