In Vietnam every region cooks it differently. When it comes to America or any other countries out of Vietnam, it also different. Just like here in America everybody add their touch to it. Really full experience best is in Vietnam.

I think the noodles you got are that way b/c it's seems like it's the dry version? I get the same brand, smaller bag that's pink and it's the "chewy" texture and its vacuum sealed. Try that?
