    I think I saw this thing once in @papadesuyo's video. Please check him out. His channel is way underrated, his recipes are all good and he often makes everything from scratch. He has a lot of knowledge about cooking and yes I'm his huge fan.

    Most Onoshiki type 1 will come with 2.2mm cutter such as the one you just got. 2.2 is great for udon or Jiro style noodles but otherwise, most people in Japan use the onoshiki roller for low hydration mentai(noodle belt) and just use a pasta cutter to cut into thinner noodles.
