If I use dried white beans and cook them myself, is the aquafaba the same as what is in the tin or do I need to add something? Is chick pea water also similar e.g. replacing egg whites?
Beautiful! I should try this tomorrow defitely! Thank you Refika! THis is a great idea! 💖💖💖💖💖
Love that series and love this recipe thanks fr sharing 😊
I made this for breakfast today. I had cooked white beans in the fridge and wanted to prepare something for my husband. I served it along with Turkish eggs. Very yummy, just like everything I learn from you!!
BTW, my husband -he’s the BEST!
This looks really yummy! It reminds me of Canada's national dish, Poutine. French fries covered by melted cheese and brown gravy. YUM!
Lovely cooking ❤❤
Very testy ❤❤❤❤
That looks amazing!
How would it be if made with garbanzo beans (chickpeas)?
That looks fantastic, it's now part of my monthly lunch rotation. BTW, vegans have such a thing as a plant based yogurt. Many of the western countries have it in grocery stores but if anyone looks and doesn't find it, there are YT tutorials on how take vegan yogurt from scratch. This would allow your vegan followers to execute the full recipe
Looks like Refika's cooking is not just satisfying our stomachs, but also our hearts by mentioning Kivanc, heartthrob of Turkish dramas. Can we expect a romantic dish next time, Refika? 😂
I'm drooling and I've got some stale rolls I need to use up. Woot!!!
Oh yum! I’m going to make this very soon. Thanks you guys!
Looks delicious! Thanks for this video!
Aquafaba is bad for health and canned legumes should always rinsed in water before use. It has all the things we try to avoid by soaking legumes to water before cooking, such as anti-nutrients and toxins. Please add this information as a small sidenote to your video for preventing misguiding your audience, so that people will be able to make an informed choice about using it. I know recently it has become popular to use as a substitute in vegan recipes but science does not depend on trends.
Very good
You have good taste Refika! I adore Kovanç myself! Will definitely make this with old Maltese "ftira" ! I only wish he would be here to taste it! 😂😂😂 Another Turkish handsome actor favourite of mine is Burak Özçivit! You are very lucky there in Turkey! Handsome guys, good food, beautiful land!

This recipe is a twist on a Lebanese staple dish called Tesekye or Fattet hummus. We use Hummus rather than white beans and fried pita bread as the base. The yogurt/tahini sauce is very similar and we finish it with a splash of pine nuts fried in ghee.
You can also make this with pasta! Tried it the other day and was amazing
I loved your channel because we love to eat turkish food. Please show also your sustainable kitchen ❤❤
That looks delicious! I wanna eat it
Love the recipe 💖
Refikacığım, why don't you show us how to make Zeytinyağlı Yaprak Sarma and tell us about the history of this beautiful dish? It's known eveeywhere as sarma/dolma or as slightly derived variations of it (dolmades in Greece) but nobody knows about the fact that its name is Turkish and it refers to a food prep technique (sar-ma, dol-ma, dola-ma, akıt-ma, kızart-ma). Thank you for all your great work! ❤
Awesome
