love the colours of the flowers, i never really caried for flowers when I started growing, but my daughter talked me into having a few and now I love them! they make me so happy to see them and watch the bees and the butterflys
White, nice. > I love your choice of White Flowers! Lovely. And the 'White Pot' is much nicer than ~ Orange…Terra Cotta pots. (they don't match the Hartley)
I am super curious to see what this haul cost you? I've been watching your videos for almost a year now and been too afraid to take the plunge financially because so far everything I have purchased in the past year is either dying or dead now ๐ฌ
Love Kramer's Red Winter Heath! I planted a couple for the first time this year and they're blooming right now in Jan. The Garden Sanity channel turned me on to them. Philly PA z7.
Laura- have you seen Canary Wing begonias! They are gorgeous- or I think they are. I had them last summer- I hope I can get more this season. It was the first time I had seen them. A lime yellowish leaf with the flowers. Beautiful! Be blessed!
Hi! Am learning so much from these amazing videos!! Don't know if this tip was mentioned before but when I pot plants in pots with the drainage hole I put a used laundry dryer sheet over the hole. It stops any soil leaking out of the pot onto the saucer and allows water to easily drain. I make sure that the sheets have been used a couple of times to lessen the chemicals on them. Hope this helps!!
What happened to your Pinky Winky Hydrangea tree that you planted at the corner of your home 4 yrs ago? It was in the area you found a huge chunk of concrete. We are considering planting one this spring and are curious how yours turned out. I don't remember seeing it again.
My white Calla lilies have overwintered, next to our foundation, for several years. Zone 5B. I was unsuccessful in growing the kangaroo plant. I hope you are mire successful!
Hi Laura and Aaron! It was fun seeing all of the pretty plants and colors. I think you guys should buy the massage chairs to use after a day gardening. Thank you so much for sharing!
I plant dianthus as a ground cover, they spread easily & "gently" without being invasive. They completely cover the plants with long lived flowers for about 2.5 mos and leave a beautiful frosty blue green carpet of foliage after the flowers fade. The faded flowers are easy to dead head with scissors or mini electric shears, since they tend to fade all at once making grooming simple. But shear the faded flowers off, give them a quick hand fluff and they continue with a consistant lighter, re-blooming until frost.
You're going to love the Kumquat. Slice crosswise to put in drinks. I once made a syrup by macerating in sugar until a syrup forms; great in drinks. This recipe was a great hit at a 4th of July party once: melt white chocolate and pour into mini baking cups, set a slice of strawberry, a raspberry, a blueberry and a slice of kumquat peel into the soft white chocolate and let set. The kumquat just makes it taste so delicious and fruity. You'll love it!
I learned about Wakefield Handmade pottery from Erin-the Impatient Gardener. You can order directly from him to get matching saucers. I have a white pot and a terra Rosa, which is a lighter shade of traditional clay pots. His designs are so pretty and would look wonderful in the Hartley. ๐
Thankful for bringing a little Spring to our cold rainy day in NC. I really like how you insert a picture of each plant when showing them. You brighten our day as always.
Love all of the plants โค๏ธ So beautiful ๐โจ

In regards to your Kumquat, i believe that is the variety Kevin from Epic Gardening has, if you might need any info on it

Are there best places to purchase green houses from? New to your channel, you are so informative.

My parents had a Comquwat and they were delicious. I would like one too. And I'd also love a Fig tree!! My favorite to eat. ๐๐

Iโve done a few experiments with using lamps to warm potting soil, and I think that the plants really do grow faster.
It would be nice if they made plastic pots with a built-in heater around the inside of the pot. The soil seems to do well around 100-105 F.
But theyโd have to run some experiments with common plants to see if it really works.
Love the topiary and the pot good job on painting the saucer looks great in the Hartley.

I LOVE your program! You make me think Iโm walking around with you! โค
I really loved the new angle when you were potting. Itโs nice to have some interest in the background. I hope this change is permanent.
I sure wish we had a nursery that stayed open year round all of our local nurseries close shortly before Christmas.
Love your excitement and energy for the new plant haul!

I just bought some wintergreen, as I've been looking for a perennial, shade loving, ground cover. Seems perfect. Thanks for the inspiration โค๏ธ
Been waiting, would lv some woman's plus size t-shirts. Your fan ๐๐ป

The sun shining through in multiple shots during this video really warmed my soul!
