Hi. Have you tried ordering reusable feminine products for you and the girls? That’s what I’ve done and I’ve saved so much money! They last a very long time.
Hubby gave up soda 2 years ago.I still have occasionally diet pepsi…I know ..bad..we buy sugar free mix …try to get healthier version..lucky my grandkids have been raised on water water water…and milk..they did a better job than I did..we were sweet tea family…you live and learn.
Enjoyed the video
Pancakes, French toast cut into strips. Eggs are expensive right now. Oatmeal are cheaper.
Food prices are crazy indeed. What cost me 70 dollars this time last year I'm fortunate to get for 160.00. It's hard to fix good meals on a budget for just the two of us. Can't imagine doing this for a family of 12. God bless you and your husband.
Ground turkey and dried beans save me money. Same with frozen veggies.
I'm curious. With so many children, and with Biden warning of food shortages, what are you doing to prepare for this???
We do the salsa chicken it's really yummy. We serve it with white rice. The gravy from the salsa is great on the rice. You can also put green beans in with the chicken so tasty
Prices gonna like crazy just like you said… Here in Belgium, the prices of chicken are more then doubled in 4 weeks time…crazy isn’t it?
I want to reach out to you without putting my information out. Do y'all have a general email address that I could contact you with?
Food price increases are happening all over the world. It’s crazy.
I make my meals around the sales. You have to be flexible right now. We have not had any shortages here.
Blessings to you. Children are so blessed 🙌.
Cut the chicken in half lengthwise so the breast look as big but are half as thick. They cook quicker and fools the eye.
Do you have any smaller multicultural grocery stores in your area? I'm in the Chicagoland area and I've found that these stores will run a different meat sale every week. I can get chicken drumsticks from .69 to .99 per pound in a "family pack". I bring it home and break it down into meal size portions before freezing it. One store has had ground beef every week for $2.19. I make extra trips if I have to and go to the stores just for the specific sale item. Take care and good luck keeping your grocery bill down!
Add some bacon bits to the creamy chicken thing. It adds flavor without a lot of cost.
With your large family, why don't you shop at Sam's club or Costco? You would be getting bulk items for around the same price ur paying now for little boxes of things
You are so right everything is going up 😫
You work so hard taking care of all the children i definitely wouldn't be giving up the wine haha.. Fantastic shopping haul.
If you don’t already, please start a pantry, things are not good and it pays to have several weeks of food in the house
A simple favourite we have around here is just hamburger with gravy, mashed or just boiled potatoes and veggies. We usually eat it like that or sometimes I turn it into a shepherds pie. For us, 1 lb of burger with 3 packs of gravy plus the potatoes and veggies will do about 4-5 servings. I usually double it so we can eat it again the next night. I use brown gravy. It's cheap, easy and delicious! That's what we're having tonight. I'm currently peeling potatoes.
It's off season right now but ALDI has a great soup in a bag that you add water and cook it and it makes a lot. It's called Chef’s Cupboard Soup Mixes. Their Cafe Bustello coffee is the best and it cheap.
prices have gone up, that is not alot of money for 10 kids
Have you moved back permanently?
All the prices have gotten out of control!
They have salad kits that you can buy like at Walmart and Aldi’s
