I wanted to like dryer balls…but they just end up rolling away or getting taken upstairs and missing. Not very cost effective or eco friendly to continually go through new dryer balls. 🤣

It’s dryer sheets for me, but I do usually tear them in half.

Hi, from Oklahoma here also! I got some Norwex dryer balls as a gift & I’m enjoying them. One thing I’m learning is to not over dry your clothes & that helps w the static. Drying too long especially with the wool balls will cause static. (For me) Otherwise…love them!

I work at a school and my kitchen definitely looks different during the school year. I do more food prep and meal planning when I’m working. Especially at the beginning of the school year. It gets me off on the right foot!

I enjoy your videos and understand you don’t have need to go dairy free but we do. Any channel friends that do make dairy free meals for kids? Would love some cost saving tips or tested substitutions. Miss easy crockpot meals.

Thanks for pointing out the big croissant rolls are the same price as the smaller ones at Walmart! You posted a vid a while back that inspired me to try a couple different thigs with the croissants and they were both a big hit with the YA's, thanks!

The only time I use dryer sheets is for my lingerie – nylon tumbling in the dryer = static cling, am I right or am i right? I don't know if I'd want dryer balls bounding my delicates, but let me know how it goes!

My kids are grown, but I still have my twin daughters at home, now finishing their last year of college. I remember well the intensity of back-to-school shopping for clothes, supplies, etc. At the time, it was pretty stressful during tight-budget years, and even in 'fat-cat' years, it was a bit stressful due to the kids' anxiety about finding the perfect everything lol. But oh my goodness, the nostalgia now to be able to go back to those days and experience all the 'new beginnings' in the fall.

Mindy, I just found your channel on Friday and have enjoyed doing a bit of bing watching. I tried to do a few old, some new and some half way between. I do have a question (and apologize if this is in a video I may have missed), do you have a cookbook or recipe site where I can more easily document some of your recipe’s that you present? Thanks so much!

Mindy I have a idea for you I have a 4runner and I have my big cooler in the back and when I go get groc. that are cold things I pack them in it with a bag of ice and I can run all my places then go home and everything is still very cold . saves gas too. I even have been to the groc at 6am and work all day and when I get home after 4pm and my eggs, meat , milk it all is still good.. I love my big cooler.

My mom puts them in with towels helps with the trying time that’s what she says. I have no clue about replacing them for dryer sheets. She will still put a dryer sheet with her towels even with the ball. I want to get the ball but want to get some Norwex instead.

Yeah it’s about time for me to take a trip to Sam’s to get stocked up on my snack foods for school. For me I’m glad school has started back up because for me summertime puts me in survivor mode.

Yes please with packing lunches even as an adult I need ideas. I get tired of the same old same old lunches. It’s almost been a month since I’ve went back to school and I’m already tired of spinach and tuna. I’m now tired of leftovers for lunch. It might help if I find some to go storage container to pack my lunches in would makes it better for me.

I wonder how many viewers are like "Whats Casey's?" and they might assume it's just a gas station, but that it's actually famous for pizza. 😂 We lived in Arizona for a few years, and when we would drive home every summer/christmas, I knew I was getting close because I'd start seeing Casey's and I;d usually stop for a cake donut. 😆

I also can't finish a pot of coffee in a day. I buy the coffee I like best and make a full pot every time even though I only drink a cup a day. To save the extra for later I portion into mason jars. You can add sugar/sweetner before sealing. I just tighten on the canning lids and give a quick shake before shoving in the fridge. Because they go in hot, it will seal and keep your coffee fresher. Just pull out 1 and have iced coffee or reheat. 🙂I get 3 ~8oz jars and 1 cup of coffee from my 5 cup coffee pot.

Your son has good taste in string cheese! though my parents also didn't buy it very often because it was usually more expensive. My dad would try to buy other string cheese from Costco or Sam's club but I wouldn't eat it so I just didn't get string cheese anymore. Now that I buy it myself it's one of my splurge items like you and your Duncan coffee. Though I called it the "good string cheese" instead of the green one.

I don’t think the dryer balls help with the static, but I think they do help with dryer time. I’ve heard you can roll up foil into a ball and through that in to help. I use the unscented right now and usually only use half and it works. As far as melatonin, you can break it in half and reduce the amount. Your body can get use to it, so not good to take for a long time. Just take a break if you can. I can eat these foods,I have to stick to meat, veg and fruits (not to much) due to some gut issues I have. I do watch hoping for some ideas for my husband and son. I try to cook good fun food for them.🧡
