Hi, I’m a very new Vegan, and I’m not missing anything so far, I gave cheese up years ago along with crisps, or as you call them chips I believe. I’m English, but the best thing for me so far are smoothies, frozen fruit a banana or two and a small amount of water. I drink tea but can’t bare the taste of the non dairy so I drink expensive teas as there are real pieces of fruit and berries and like you said lots of water. Thank you for your really helpful messages. X Ros

Can you do a video on going plant based when you have food allergies my daughter has food allergies and a lot of ingredients that are in swaps like cheese and meat products she's allergic things of the legume family like peas, chickpeas, lentils, and most tree nuts and peanuts fortunately SHE CAN have soy based things like tofu, almonds and hazelnuts but that's all.
Can you show us how to make cheeses from sunflower seeds

One thing to remember about going vegan(or whatever you are) is to cut down on using the microwave. I mainly use it to warm liquids but only if I have to. And be mindful of the type of cookware used. Too many chemicals in nonstick cookware.

So, I am watching this for the second time. 1) to tell you I tried the iced matcha green tea latte from Starbucks and even my kids loved it. 2) I bought some matcha today!!!! 3) it's hard not to just pounce on things your craving. 😂😂😂 Chocolate junky over here. Being patient is super key. I've slowly been taking things out of my diet and I'm not even trying.

Great tips! That's right, for some people, it's easier to transition when they add plant-based meat replacements like veggie burgers, veggie sausages… And yes! sauces. That makes everything much more interesting. I just posted a green bell pepper sauce that I use in many meals. Great video 🙂

Hi..great info! In my attempts to eat a vegan diet I noticed more recently that I was consuming alot of sodium. I was buying the packaged vegan crumbles and a few other things to add to meals. Even the sauce was high in sodium. So is that normal..that as a vegan your salt intake increases? If not what suggestions or advice can you give me

New World Order Diet for Fools. This is not a healthy diet. Where's the Retinol? Where's the EPA/DHA? Where's the B12? Where's the K2? Plants and seeds aren't superfoods! If you're following this diet, you've been played! Don't be a fool.

    High Sugar
    Lectins
    Oxalates
    Phytate
    Plant Pesticides
    Goitrogens
    Indigestible Fiber
    Phytoestrogens
    Glyphosate

If you are getting cravings for Meat just listen to your body it's warning you. Whats more important your health or the animals. Wake up your ancestors literally went out their way to hunt and procure Meat do you think they did that for no Reason. We evolved and thrived off the consumption of Meat.

I needed this. I’ve been a Vegetarian for a year, and I wanted a Cheeseburger. I had mixed feelings…I hate the smell of beef, and hate the taste of it yet I was craving it.

It is definitely the Umami flavor, and I just wanted something hearty to eat. When it comes to cheese, I just want something creamy.

Anyone have suggestions for Fried chicken cravings?

If you have a craving for a food, like eggs, then you should try to get the nutrition of that food some other way, which your examples don't do. This is bad advice. Tofu is not a nutritional replacement for eggs.

Drinking water when you crave salt is the opposite of what you should be doing. A salt craving is because you want electrolytes, and drinking plain water drains electrolytes. Drinking mineral water that has electrolytes would be ok though.

💌 So true!!🍒 I was thinking about this on President's Day and my cherry pie craving, it made me meditate about how cravings are involved with emotions esp. how our Moms did certain things with foods that our love is tied in with the food but we live and learn! I am grateful I learned to be vegan. I also controlled cravings with a 1/2 of a cup of pure Aloe Vera juice or gel drink before meals and it really works to help get control of cravings!💕

So many great tips in this video! I used to eat eggs every day for breakfast and thought I'd never be able to give them up, but it was actually so easy. The smell of black salt puts me off but I actually love the taste! So good in tofu egg salad and scrambles!

This is not so much of a craving, but I’m a college student. I eat plant-based and work hard to live a vegan lifestyle (which is easy) when I’m away from home. When I come home I feel that it’s more money that I don’t have and time I don’t have to make vegan meals for myself. On top of my partner telling me I should just eat something to just carry myself through. How do you reset your mind when you’re around family?

Somehow I managed to quit cheese cold turkey with no problems. I didn't even eat that much vegan cheese! I also switched from coffee to match any gradually adding matches to my coffee and reducing the coffee each day. I've never had any real problems craving it but I do let myself have some once in a while. I've actually kinda lost my taste for it!

Or we could all just learn to neutralize food and listen to our bodies. If you crave something it’s probably not for kicks and giggles and feeling guilty for giving into your cravings just gives that food more power.
