Thank you Busy Bees. Yogurt came out very well!
Btw, have you tried making with the same recipe but in the main pot itself so that I can use this method to make large quantities of yogurt that way?

Good recipe but doesn't the milk need to be boiled? I tried 0 minute steam and it was barely 120 degrees. Then I closed the lid and did another round of 0 minute steam and it was 190 degrees. I believe you need the milk to boil (>170 degrees) to pasteurize it and before making yogurt… Please advise. Thanks!

Thx for the recipe. Some recipes state it should be 8 hours instead of 4, and also, do you put the yoghurt into the fridge straight after the process or wait for it to cool. Thx again

Thank you! I will try this method as soon as I get my IP. Been makin yoghurt in my crockpot, but after I add the 1/2 cup of yoghurt in my warm milk (I do 2 liters of milk) I let it do its thing overnight (8-10 hrs) and I see you only do it for 4 hrs…. Does that mean it works out faster in the crockpot or because you only use 4 cups ? Thanks

Hi Busy Bees, I am trying the yogurt now using your link and am done with the steaming phase. The 1 cup water that I had put is all gone now. And so when I turn on the yogurt mode, there won't be any water in the outer pot…is that okay?
