Thanks again for this chef! I wonder about the olive oil in the mayonnaise. It makes it very bitter and I have to balance with acid, otherwise it's way too bitter. Other chefs always use neutral oil. Why do you use olive oil?

My. Fave. Sammy! Tuna Melt, but it must be done right. Which LOL means I like it. 😄
This is so good. I know it is by its ingredients and the chef’s techniques. Simple, filling, and you’ll devour it, really! Especially with that mayo. Brie is a great choice, but I typically am with Jack here: I use Tillamook brand extra sharp or sharp cheddar. It’s quite uniquely flavored. Maybe a Coastal British sharp cheddar, too.
Love love love it and now I’m considering running downstairs to make this! Dang it all. 👍😀😊❤️

As much as I love this channel and Jean-Pierre, once again he takes a classic and adds way too many ingredients to it. Don't know I would call this tuna salad and as a melt. More like take tuna and throw the kitchen sink at it.

This is not a tuna melt. A tuna melt is when the whole sandwich, including the tuna, is heated along with the cheese and melted through. What the chef made was a tuna sandwich with melted cheese on top. NOT a tuna melt. Shame on him.

I have never heard of a tuna melt, but I do tuna salad sandwiches on a regular basis, so will have to try this, but due to being brain washed at some point, I will have to pass on the raw eggs.

I made a slight mistake while recreating this tuna melt. (Delicious, by the way.) I got carried away, while making this and added a little bit too much of the dressing to the tuna mixture. It became slightly loose and not as in tact as in the video. Not to worry, I had another can of tuna and extra veggies to make a slightly larger batch. So delicious. Oh my 🎉🎉 The delicious leftover dressing will be added to a smash-burger and breakfast egg BLT for the following days. 👍👍
