I followed Quakers recipe on the side of their 5min grits. It did look anything like yours😢😂
My first time making grits was yesterday and they was hard. I'm expecting for it to just take 5 minutes. Now I'm re-cooking then to soften them more as I watch your video. Thank you. I made a vegan version added Almond milk nutritional yeast and organic better than bouillon and it tastes really good thank you for sharing.

I made these for the first time in 15 years maybe the other day I added 2 eggs to it and mixed the runny yoke into it wasn't half bad I need to keep experimenting with them.

If you really like cajun or blackened shrimp, try Szechuan peppered shrimp. It's next-level in that same spice-flavor profile. I aim for Butter "critical mass".
Looks good but there's no way you'd add a tablespoon of salt to 4 cups of water plus knorr bullion, it would definitely be too salty. A teaspoon of salt sounds more reasonable.

That knorrs seasoning or chicken bouillon is filled with MSG. If you value your health, better lay off that nasty stuff.

Grits have to cook for 30 minutes…then add the cheese…creamy not slimy

Teaspoon of salt otherwise it be too salty
These are VERY good, BUT a tblsp of salt is A LOT. I would use a tsp or 2 at the max.
