    Thank you elvee, I've been using the same ingredients in the same proportions probably since before you were born. But this is the first time I cooked the rice first in water only. What a great difference. I Thank You, and my daughters thank you also.

    I was making it and when it came to the milk. I only had a cup of milk left 😭😭😭 hopefully I can still save it by the time my man comes back from work with the milk

    I don’t add no other added milks. Just milk after it’s done. I don’t even heat up the milk. I know that I can but i just add the milk once rice is done. It’ll cool it down and it’s still thick. I usually only make this when it’s a cold morning for my kids. They like cinnamon and sugar with it. So that’s how I make it. We also called it atole

    I was hoping you would give amounts of water, rice, milk, and so on. You gave no amounts of each of your ingredients. That makes following this hard to be sure it will turn out right.
