Interesting idea adding the dried cranberries! I'll have to try that. I definitely recommend baking the sweet potatoes instead of boiling them in water. The oils that release in the baking process adds so much to the flavor, and you lose that completely when you peel and boil. Thanks for sharing this!

Could you please tell me if i can add marshmallows to the top? And if so…. Can i add them right away or back a little first to get the topping crunch before adding the marshmallows. Please advise. Thank you. Xo

Second year making this without the cranberries, just delicious. I bake the potatoes because it is hard for me to peel the
Potatoes and when they are baked the skins slip off easily and they have a roasted flavor.

Made this for our Thanksgiving dinner instead of the usual mashed potatoes and have been craving for it since. I definitely prefer this so gonna be making it often.

Hi Natasha, I tried your recipe today and it turned out great! Not too sweet and a tangy flavor from the dried cranberries 😊. Love the crunch pecan topping, my husband loved it and I am sure he will be requesting this dish again. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
