Don’t be afraid to make yogurt in the Instant Pot. There’s nothing to it.
I won’t claim to be a master yogurt maker but I’ve made it enough I’m not embarrassed to show you how it goes down in the kitchen for me.

In this video, I go through the steps to making yogurt in pint jars and directly in the stainless steel liner. I have followed the instructions given in the Instant Pot User’s Manual exactly.

I had the clever idea of pouring boiling water into my pint Ball canning jars to make sure they were clean. Fortunately I did this invthe sink as one if the four (?) clean broke off at the base. Just a heads up for other new to making yogurt in the IP using jars — next time I will add them to the dishwasher load and make my batch with them fresh from the wash…

Hello, my husband tried to make yogurt but the milk didn't get thick like yogurt… do you know if we could still use that milk after we have added the probiotics to try again?

I am so glad you made this video! I see lots of other people only using the West Soy brand but I can't find that brand where I live and I don't want to have to order any online. I think I will go with the in-pot method. Rather than using the starter can I use a few tablespoons of my mom homemade soy yogurt?

To make yogurt, you need milk, press yogurt, adjust, to more, then let it bowl until it displays yogt. Then open, cool down the milk, measure with a thermometer for 115 degrees or instructed in your yogurt culture, then add the culture at that point, close the lid, click yogt and put 8 to 12 hours. Enjoy.
