How to cook soap in a great big turkey roaster crock pot. I can make 3 double batches in this turkey roaster but you have to know the tricks to it so i am trying to …
Pretty old video but I have a question! Hopefully you or someone can answer! I bought the same roaster for giant batches of liquid castile (Bastille). After receiving it I notoced the lid is aluminum! It technically shouldn't come in contact with lye but I worry about vapors or splatter. Have you or anyone experienced any issues with the lid being aluminum? Thanks!
Do you think the proctor silex will work? That's the one I have that I don't use. Bottom temp is 200 but the off switch is 3 inches away.
Great demo!
Thank You so much for all your valuable information Kimberly, and thank you for turning your SB off when you talk. So many people try to scream through it and that is just Rudd. Kudos to you and to all your hard work and teaching. *** 5 stars to you
How many batches does this turkey crockpot hold? And what brand turkey cooker are you using?

I am totally hooked. I placed my order for supplies and they should be here in 2 days. I just so happen to be off work for 2 weeks recovering from a dislocated finger. I will have plenty of time to make soap.

I learn a lot about hot process soap and essential oil from your videos. you can buy slippery elm bark powder from naturesgardencandles . I also would like to ask you, why would my hot process soap is still soft after two weeks of curing? I have a crockpot that cook at a very low temp and the soap don't really boils or have a butt crack. Do I have to cook the soap longer to get a harder bar of soap?
