Can this be made with 15 minute long grain white rice? I've been wanting to make some rice pudding. The place I'm living in has a limit on how long I can use the kitchen. I also can't drink dairy unless it's Lacoste free. If anyone has used minute rice before to make this please let me know your cooking method.

Why do you cook the rice with water first? Does it make the rice softer?

Always wash your rice. Never put rice in the fridge when it’s hot wait for it to cool down.
Looked up rice pudding as it's one of my and my son's favorites. Yours was the first video I watched. After watching 4 others I came back to yours. It's so delicious. I reminds me of my childhood. Thank you.
