Growing up as a kid my Japanese Mom would make this for me minus the mushrooms and with just store bought ketchup. Might have to kick it up a notch and try this recipe as it looks delicious.

Not how you make omurice at all….firstly, she overcooked the eggs (hence the brown spots), secondly, you add the egg atop the rice, you don't stuff it inside…..it isn't an egg burrito. Lastly, the egg on the inside needs to be runny.
You can also use ketchup for the tomato sauce it would taste sweet tho

Looks ok but the brown on the egg is a fail. With any omelette, brown colour means overcooked.
