    "Tip‼

Have a lot of fun when making this recipe 😁" Chispita, this brought tears of joy to my eyes! Muchisimas gracias! I never cooked my corn tortillas before layering them in my "lazy enchilada casserole." But I know how yummy fried corn tortillas are, so I am sure taking that extra step will improve my casseroles so much. And now I am so eager to try this recipe! The sauce you made is making my mouth water – and I am not even hungry!! Let me get my shopping list and plan it for this weekend!

I have to apologize because I’m commenting on the large tortilla recipe not this one. As a child I had access to home made tortillas regularly. When I grew up and my mom started to get the age it was too much for her I asked her to teach me. But I could never do it. And I’ve tried many times. I’m 57 and I made these tortillas right….. the first time. I watched the video multiple times and I was able to do it. Thank you for how detailed and clear you are and the things to watch out for. You gave me back a childhood memory of how amazing a warm tortilla with a little better is. I was little boy eating my moms tortillas for about 3 minutes… until I needed to heat another.
