Hi, Thank You for this explenation. I have my instantpot since yesterday and this morning I thought “Lets make an oatmail breakfast “. But after the warmingup time the display sayd: burn. This happend 2 times. In between I cleaned the bottom and added some extra water. Is there something I did wrong? Thank You for your answer. Mignon (Netherlands)

Beginner Instant Pot-ter here. 😁. Made your pumpkin oatmeal for myself and my mom Christmas morning and it was great! We added a few raisins to ours in place of chocolate chips and also drizzled a very small amount of maple syrup. Great change of pace for breakfast. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Why didn’t you just put all those ingredients in the instant pot to begin with. Wouldn’t it taste better that way rather than adding dry ingredients and mixing at the end

The pumpkin oatmeal is wonderful! I used apple pie spice instead of nutmeg and cinnamon because both are in there. But I topped it with whipping cream and it really tasted like a pumpkin pie. Will fix again.

Thank you very much for that recipe, I usually do oats on the stove which takes long to soften up, but from now on I'll be using my Instant pot, but can I pour in some milk in it before I turn it on?
