I did this recipe … trimmed and washed my fresh green beans and put it all in the instant pot. Felt a little iffy about not adding water (as the recipe says) so went ahead and added about 1/3 cup of water just in case. Sure enough, in about 2 mins my instant pot beeped “burn.” Had to do emergency steam release and dump it out in a bowl so I could scrape the scorched off my inner pot. I was able to rescue in time to make it edible though.
I am wondering why you didn't fry the bacon and sauté the onions in the instant pot?
This was quick and easy bc there was no measurements or instructions. Thanks for the idear at least.
I was told you ALWAYS have to have at least 1 cup of liquid in the IP.
