THANKS A BUNCH,
I MUST TRY 👍
Too much talking. I don’t want to know how what’s on the market and how it is made. I want to know how to make homemade cream cheese… I do like the recipe and excited to make.
I kind of laughed because I was watching you and I wondered aloud to myself, "What about Greek Yogurt?" …and then you addressed that….too funny on the timing….
Thanks!
Mary, after you separate the whey, can you flavour the yogurt cheese before you leave it in the fridge for a week?
it would be easer to buy cream cheese instead of yougot pluss all the time and work to convert the yougot to cream cheese
My sweet friend, could one possibly use the homemade yogurt to make the cream cheese?
Another fave is cranberry sauce over cream cheese during the holidays. So many options ! Yummy!
I absolutely love this Mary!!
I make my own yogurt and now I will enjoy turning that yogurt into cream cheese!
Thank you so much for showing how to do it. ♥
Mrs. Mary I could watch you all day! You are a phenomenal women I love how you get down in the kitchen. I usually make my cream cheese using the lemon juice and I have no doubt this is the better way. I thank you for sharing all of these great nutritional meals and ways to prepare food for our families. Be blessed and safe!
Love this ❤️
I enjoyed your video! Would you be able to freeze it for later use??
Thumbs up is for the apron. But love the recipe too!
Looks like a winner. You got a really good amount of cream cheese out of that yogurt.
How is it different from Greek yogurt??
You have a beautiful voice Mary. You really could do voice overs. Thank you!
Mary, you have the most pleasant voice. I just imagine you reading stories for children…. 💟🌷
The video is so long and becomes boring, you could have made in five minutes only.
Another home run Mary! Will definitely try this! Take care of yourself and stay well💜
Great video! Just a couplel questions, if I may: does it taste like commercial cream cheese, and could it be made from homemade yogurt (which is made from milk plus a tablespoon or two of cultured yogurt? Thanks!
I just found your channel – and I love it. Clever, creative and down to earth. I am a little confused about adding the salt to the recipe. You say in an answer to put it into the mold. Do I mix the teaspoon of salt into the curds and then pour into the mold – or what. ? x
Thank you, does the container you use have to be glass?
Love you Mary, my younger sister.
Thanks for sharing. My favorite way is to mix cream cheese with whipped cream and a little vanilla extract. My father's version also adds some sugar but that makes it too sweet for me to enjoy these days. The older I've gotten the less I tolerate sugar so I have to reduce or eliminate it in all of the recipes I loved in my younger days. Put on a graham cracker pie crust. Can be eaten as is or top with fruit or pie filling. My father's was topped with cherry pie jelly and maraschino cherries. Daniel doesn't like cherries so I tend to leave as is or top with strawberries or apples. He complains less doing his school work in the morning than he does in the afternoon and evenings.
dear Mary, i wonder what happens when you leave the cream cheese more than two weeks in the fridge, does it mold or is it evolving into a different edible product, please enlighten me?
Will this work if you make your own yogurt cold method with the Instapot ? Will it become cream cheese?
Hi New Friend I just stumbled on your Channel and am relearning how to cook in different ways for my own content and I sure will be trying these ty for Showing us this its amazing looking. I never thought of using Yogurt wow….
Looks like a healthy and delicious home made cream cheese. Hope you are doing well and your foot is recovering well.
Take care,
Rob
How long does it last in the refrigerator and can you freeze it and for how long?
Thanks, Mary! Will try this with my kefir.
I make Crepes with the whey
I only had Bulgarian whole yogurt, going to try that and see if it works
👌👌👌💕💕💕
Mary, could you use this cream cheese for making cheese cake?
So, you never did explain why you can't use Greek yogurt. It would seem like a short cut to me, since half of the whey has already been removed for you.
Your block of “cream cheese” and “cream cheese container” looks larger than 8 oz. Is it possibly 16 oz. or larger possibly ?
