I have to throw in a rec for a tahini brand that is a favorite of our huge syrian family – Al Kanater is head and shoulders above the rest. A little hard to find but available at most middle eastern grocery stores. Soooo luscious and sweet and creamy. We even have it as a dessert sometimes with some date syrup swirled in – it ends up having a nutty, caramely, but not too sweet flavor
