    I might make this soup tonight, even though I don't have the kale. Many times, I fast forward (I record these shows) through Rachel's cooking segment, since there are so many numerous ingredients, and many ingredients that I don't have on hand or will ever use again. I could never afford to cook like that. But this one was different…. so simple and basic…. just like the recipes I grew up with in the '60s and '70s. This soup will go good with the "homemade" bread I'm making in my bread machine.
