First video I’ve seen with Tim. 😁
Those look delicious!
I know people say they absorb water, but it rains on mushrooms in nature, and they survive hahahaha… I also gently scrub mine with a soft vegetable brush, rinse, and then dry off like you did, or peel off the outer layer.
That looks so yummy! I don’t particularly like the sharp taste in jackfruit, so this may be a great option for a “pulled bbq” sandwich. We appreciate y’all!
Can hardly wait to try these. Am finding it hard to find Ezekiel Buns though.
Love this. Cannot wait to make it. Cannot wait to try it. Temporarily living with a full fat, meat eating family, so it is nice to have a meal to make and eat while they are eating the similar full fat meat option, I have tried to do something similar with jackfruit, but that did not work out when I made it. I think this recipe will be much more successful.
I wash mushrooms too … and soak spices. Great recipe & thanks for the barbecue sauce tip ! And good job, Tim !
that looks so good !
I have never tried the king oyster mushrooms but I really want to try them! You fellas make that really look delicious I got my mouth watering I can't wait to try it 💕
Thanks, Tim! You rock! It's good to see you!!
I have tried this recipe so many different ways. My new favorite way is in the air fryer……it gets crispy on the edges. Mmmmmm. I use about 4-5 mushrooms (depending on the size) per sandwich. There is a lot more shrinkage in the air fryer/oven. A little tweak on the seasoning and this becomes a bomb shredded taco/burrito/enchilada filler. I drive an hour (each way) to get the big King oyster mushrooms at the Asian market. It's so worth it. When I can't get mushrooms, I use a can of jackfruit instead.
Love it!
Looks good. Can't find the coleslaw recipe…?
I used to hate mushrooms too! But I've grown to love them all. This recipe looks delicious 😋 The mushroom grower I've spoken to told me you are supposed to trim the bottom of those mushrooms at least about 1/4" of it.
Great to see Tim and we need to have him on the channel more even though I love 💕 both of you 👍 and the recipe was amazing and I love 🥰 mushrooms and I love 😍 this video.
My partner thinks these mushrooms smell and taste like bananas, maybe I'll be able to change his mind with your recipe. Thank you Tim 🙏 Love the mustache 😀
Classic BBQ mushroom sandwich. Looks absolutely delicious. Thank you for sharing. Let's keep connected and visit. Have a wonderful Monday.
HA – DANG!! Just picked up king oyster mushrooms at the farmer's market on Saturday. We made mushroom buffalo wings using Nini's teriyaki cauliflower wing recipe and switching the sauce to buffalo. They were okay, nothing spectacular… Your shredded BBQ sandwiches look soooo good!!! Thanks so much for the tutorial, especially about the shredding!! Can't wait to make these next weekend ❤️
Tim I clicked on the video so fast I almost broke my nail. I know this is gonna be good. I am gonna be trying this for sure. They look amazing. You got joey to eat mushrooms? Yessssssss!!!!!!!!!! I’m team mushroom. Where’s mine. Joeyyyyyyyy you ate mushrooms. Good job.
What a fantastic idea! We love mushrooms and eat them most days of the week. This will be a perfect new way to eat a basic staple. Thanks!!
