I love your beautiful apron! Pink is a rich color on you. I was excited to see you do your ‘blender’ dance. I know it is an important step to creating the right texture. Also you created a !new ‘washing machine’ dance. I am embarrassed to say I have never tasted a tamale. I am looking forward to a tamale celebration because I understand that to create this many it becomes a family party. Wishing you and your sister the very best of these holiday’s I am very thankful to have found you both and have to become a member of your loving food sisterhood. Thank you so very much for sharing your love. You both have brought me much happiness. I don’t know if anyone ever suggested this but I would enjoy the both of you sitting down together after creating the food and just enjoying the meal together maybe telling family history. Maybe even sharing how you celebrate this time of year.🧈🍠🥕🫒🧄🧅🍞🥚🧀🌮🫔🥦🫐🫑🌶⛄️☃️🌎🪷🌳🌘

I get so dazzled by your videos I didn’t catch how long from start to finish this took, and if it’s a 50 count steaming for 2 and a half hours as well?? Thank you so much for all the great videos over the years. You two sisters are amazing. To another great year 🥂!! 💜

When you were mixing the masa with lard I was thinking, "On that day you can skip the arm workout." And adding the chili mix I thought, "'We're going to need a bigger boat'…uh bowl."

I love these tamales. Using one of your other vids (smaller batch) I have made them twice now. However both batches I ran into a problem. All of my tamales, while cooking (steaming) the masa slid down to the bottom of the husk so I ended up with "tamale balls". They were fully cooked and delirious, just malformed. The first time I thought I just didnt get the masa pressed firmly to the husk so I made extra sure I was using the proper side of the husk and pressed very firmly but ended up with the same issue. My family say they dont care as they taste great BUT I would really like to know what I'm doing wrong. Any Ideas? Thanks for all the great videos. I'm becoming a decent cook thanks to you.
