I am making the red lentil hummus tomorrow. One thing I like to do is buy those boxes of baby spinach, a few at a time, and stash the whole container in the freezer. Then I just pull off what I need. Obviously not good for salad, but excellent for cooking. That way it doesn’t rot before you finish it. Best thing ever. ☮️💕

Lentils arent seen as a weird vegan stuff here in France ! A lot of meals (mostly not vegan but you can easily make them vegan, I had beyond sausage for one and no one saw it was vegan) are made with lentils.
Check "lentilles du berry" it's where im from.

Yes, your puns ARE ridiculous, but isn’t that the point of a good pun? I’m very well stocked with lentils atm. Off to the kitchen with you, woman. Thank you guys. Stay safe.

Great recipes and I will be making the Scottish soup and because I am actually Scottish will do a good job of it. Red Lentils are fabulous and my favourite but I also occasionally eat green and brown lentils. Grow your own plant foods if you can, I am going to be doing that from this year.

No way! I'm so glad you asked! This morning I made a sprouted and dehydrated lentil 'protein powder' and put it in a smoothie for my 73 year-old mother's breakfast. So of course we were speculating about whether it would cause gas, that is, Lentil Ventle. I then said, if she were Jewish, we could call it Yentl Lentil Ventle. (No disrespect intended!)
