What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish??

I know I shared a lot about my husbands favorites— mine is actually a cranberry sauce my cousin made a few years back it was DEVINE! I’m pretty sure I ate it all 🤣 shared with no one! I had planned to make an orange cranberry sauce homemade but I couldn’t find fresh cranberries at the store!

These are some awesome ideas! I'm a vegetarian but I have been trying to incorporate more plant-based eating in my diet. Every year I make a tofurky. Not really in the budget this year so I am excited to try the shepherd pie recipe that you shared. Also that cornbread look super simple! Honestly everything looked good and delicious🙂 thank you for taking the time to make this video it truly is appreciated 💗

My favorite dish is Mac and cheese and since changing to plant based I learned to make a plant based version. Last year it won the Mac and cheese cook off competition we had at thanksgiving and I didnt tell my family it was plant based until after the votes were in! 🤫😛The apple crumble looks amazing! I am also located in Vegas, and I love shopping at winco too! Wishing you a happy thanksgiving.

Thank you for these yummi and simple recipes! I‘m vegan for many years now and I love your channel for the simplicity and the budget friendly recipes. You also inspired me to become debtfree. We are half way through now. Thank you for that! I‘m from germany, so I don‘t celebrate thanksgiving. But my familiy‘s traditional dinner on christmas eve was german potato salad with smoked fish and my husband‘s is a traditional german kale dish with potatoes and sausages. For many years we have veganized it and some years we make something new up or we make a korean dinner because half of my husband’s family is korean. With my aunt, who is vegan too, for a few years now, we cook together peta’s vegan christmas dinner on one day near christmas. I love that we do the cooking all together and nobody has to do all the work alone. Wish you a happy thanksgiving!

I’ve been the only vegetarian in my family, all my 54 years. Raised in a Half Latin half Irish household, I was always the sides girl. I never liked those marshmallow sweet potatoes but regular mashed potatoes, oven roasted green beans, roasted chestnuts and our Latin traditional black beans and rice were my go to’s. My favorite memory of TG was my Mom and my Aunts all busy together in the kitchen preparing the fest 💖🙏

I think the mashed potatoes and noodles with broth and gravy sounds yumm! Two of our meals in the south are pecan pie and cornbread dressing. I still make the dressing, but haven’t been able to replicate a tasty pecan pie.

So excited to try this cornbread! I am from northern Indiana and before I went vegan. We always would eat beef or chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes. I am definitely going to try it like this with broth noodles and mashed potatoes!!🥰

Thanks for the recipe ideas! I’m the only one in my family that eats WFPB so I need to take some dishes to share that I can eat. Think I might try the shepherds pie and the kale salad.

I have never heard of the noodles, broth and mashed potatoes even though lived in Ohio for four years. Very interesting. Love all your videos. We make a lentil/mushroom loaf wrapped in phyllo dough like a "wellington". Very pretty. New Years Day has always been a huge pan of lasagne.

I love your videos – – – Easy, budget friendly, and delicious!!!!! Thank you! BTW: You can eat the entire cauliflower, including the core and leaves. (I remove the bottom that is dirty and any leaves that do not look good.) I slice a cauliflower into 5 or 6 + slices, and roast them as cauliflower steaks. I scatter the leaves around the pan, in between the steaks. While recipes online say to flip your steaks midway through, I often forget…

I make this great big batch of lentil chili on Thanksgiving week. For a special treat, I pop some opened whole wheat pita breads in the air fryer, and make some big toasty chips. I serve the chili with a generous heap of pico de gallo and guacamole on the side. For a salad, I have a big slaw of red cabbage, green cabbage, carrots, cranberries, apples, and oranges, the dressing is balsamic vinegar blended with black olives. A non-traditional meal, but hey….it's what I like!
