Oh I never boil zoodles I heat my spaghetti sauce that I doctor up in a skillet and after it heats and is hot I add the zoodles long enough to heat up. They still have a bite and all the nutrients still in them.

So I don’t cut spaghetti squash in half until after they’ve cooked. I poke a couple of vent holes like you would for a baked potato, microwave on high for 10 minutes, let cool, cut in half, scoop out seeds and guts, done. Pretty easy to tell when they’re done, they get kind of saggy feeling if that’s a thing. No glass microwave dish or instant pot to wash. I will always go the route with fewer dishes because I’m lazy that way.

Helpful hint….I just toss the WHOLE spaghetti squash in my IP….easier to slice after it is cooked….then I just scoop out the seed, followed by the "noodles" πŸ™‚

Love this, Jamerrill! tip…. cut the very ends off the spaghetti squash then cut in in half long way. proceed as usual, it all comes out without scraping and you get the long 'noodles'. spaghetti squash is my very fav! also…. thank you for the tip of ordering groceries at walmart online then pickup… we live 2 hours from the closest one, and we hate the shopping experience there, mainly because it takes at least 2 hours to shop, making grocery shopping an all day thing. we tried the ordering thing this weekend and its so nice to not waste the whole day on walmart!! thank you! total lifesaver! xoxo

Not on the topic of cooking at all, hah but I wondered if you had any Christian resources you used to talk to your children about sex? Specifically, your boys πŸ™‚ and what age did you start talking to them? If you are willing to answer. As a fellow Christian Mama, I feel like this is something that isn’t talked about enough.

I laughed out loud about the UPS man. Thanks for sharing your real life, Jamerill. You’re such an encouragement. We’re all in the trenches of life together, but boy it’s fun.

Haha, that gave me a giggle re. telling the delivery guy off……I once accidentally said something really embarrassing to my grandmother over the phone because it was a bad line and I thought it was a prank caller! About twenty years have passed and I still cringe, haha. I just purchased a spaghetti squash for the very first time today – so excited to try it! I don't have an insta pot or anything similar, but I'll find another way πŸ™‚

I have a Green Pan pressure cooker and it doesn't have a "chime" sound, but it won't turn on until the lid is sealed properly. I'm just wondering if they aren't all like that for safety purposes Do the Wonder Noodles still smell fishy after they're cooked? And is there any fishy (or other non-noodle) flavor once cooked?

i LOVE YOUR VIDEO'S that is funny about the delivery person. I think every Mom has done something like that. OKay the piece of hair that you keep messing with doesn't go to that side. thats why it keeps falling in your eyes. πŸ™‚ I miss seeing Mr. B. is he crawing yet?

I've tried the noodles they were ok but you're right about the smell you really have to wash and drain them well. Also be careful with the texture, they don't really break like a noodle when you swallow…found that out the hard way when I almost choked on one it felt like I had swallowed an elastic lol I'm probably gonna try the spaghetti squash again I tried it before but it was back when I was just starting to eat healthier foods and I think it was just too healthy for me at the time. I've been eating healthy for over two years now though so maybe they'll taste good now

I love how easy it is to make spaghetti squash in the IP! My parents have a big garden every year and always have an over abundance of squashes. I was so glad when my kids all loved it the first time I made it for them on "pasta night"!
